Janet Finch-Saunders MS is looking forward to meeting residents over the coming week at both the Eglwysbach Show this Saturday 8th August and Sioe Môn - Anglesey Show next Tuesday and Wednesday 11th and 12th August.

Eglwysbach Show which has been running since the 1940s, has become one of Wales’ best-loved agricultural events, celebrating the very best of local farming, livestock, horticulture and rural life. Sioe Môn is one of the largest and most prestigious events in the Welsh agricultural calendar. First held in 1872, the show has a long and proud history of celebrating the island’s farming heritage. Today, it attracts thousands of visitors each year and showcases the strength and diversity of Anglesey’s agricultural community.

Janet and the team will have a stall at both events and are encouraging anyone attending to stop by for a chat, raise any local concerns, ask questions or simply catch up.

Commenting ahead of the shows, Janet Finch-Saunders, Senedd Member for Bangor Conwy Môn said:

“These shows are fantastic celebrations of our rural communities and the people who make them so special. They provide an excellent opportunity to meet residents, local businesses, farmers and community groups from across the constituency.

I always enjoy attending these events and listening to the issues that matter most to local people. If you’re visiting either the Eglwysbach Show or Sioe Môn, please do come along to our stall and say hello, ask any questions or simply have a chat – it would be great to see you there.”

Mae Janet Finch-Saunders AS yn edrych ymlaen at gwrdd â thrigolion dros yr wythnos nesaf yn Sioe Eglwysbach ddydd Sadwrn 8 Awst a Sioe Môn ddydd Mawrth a dydd Mercher 11 a 12 Awst.

Mae Sioe Eglwysbach, sydd wedi bod yn cael ei chynnal ers y 1940au, wedi dod yn un o ddigwyddiadau amaethyddol mwyaf poblogaidd Cymru, sy'n dathlu'r gorau o ffermio, da byw, garddwriaeth a bywyd gwledig lleol. Sioe Môn yw un o'r digwyddiadau mwyaf a mwyaf mawreddog ar galendr amaethyddol Cymru. Ers ei chynnal gyntaf ym 1872, mae gan y sioe hanes hir a balch o ddathlu treftadaeth ffermio'r ynys. Heddiw, mae'n denu miloedd o ymwelwyr bob blwyddyn ac yn arddangos cryfder ac amrywiaeth cymuned amaethyddol Ynys Môn.

Bydd gan Janet a'r tîm stondin yn y ddau ddigwyddiad ac mae’n annog unrhyw un sy'n mynychu i alw heibio am sgwrs, codi unrhyw bryderon lleol neu ofyn cwestiynau.

Cyn y sioeau, dywedodd Janet Finch-Saunders, AS Bangor Conwy Môn:

"Mae'r sioeau hyn yn ddathliadau gwych o'n cymunedau gwledig a'r bobl sy'n eu gwneud mor arbennig. Maen nhw’n gyfle gwych i gwrdd â thrigolion, busnesau lleol, ffermwyr a grwpiau cymunedol o bob rhan o'r etholaeth.

Rydw i bob amser yn mwynhau mynychu'r digwyddiadau hyn a gwrando ar y materion sydd bwysicaf i bobl leol. Os ydych chi'n ymweld â Sioe Eglwysbach neu Sioe Môn, dewch draw i'n stondin i ddweud helo, gofyn unrhyw gwestiynau neu i gael sgwrs – byddai'n wych eich gweld chi yno."
