Janet Finch-Saunders MS has raised concerns after some residents across the Bangor Conwy Môn constituency experienced disruption to their water supply, with some households reporting being left without water for five days.
Janet Finch-Saunders has contacted Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water seeking an urgent update on the issues affecting residents, including what action is being taken to restore supplies and what support is available to those impacted. Concerns have also been raised about communication with affected households, with residents seeking clearer updates and assistance during the disruption.
Janet Finch-Saunders, Senedd Member for Bangor Conwy Môn said:
“Access to a reliable water is essential, and I understand the frustration and concern felt by residents who have experienced disruption, particularly those who have been without water for a number of days.
Residents have contacted me to express concerns about the support and communication they have received during this period. More needs to be done to ensure people affected by these issues receive timely information and appropriate assistance.
I have raised these concerns with Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water and will continue to seek updates on the situation to ensure residents’ concerns are heard and that lessons are learned for the future.”
