Janet Finch-Saunders, the Member of the Senedd for Bangor, Conwy and Môn, is calling on residents and visitors alike to support local businesses and attractions as the summer school holidays approach.
With thousands of families set to enjoy the break over the coming weeks, Janet is highlighting the vital role local shops, cafés, restaurants, independent retailers, tourist attractions and hospitality businesses play in sustaining the area's economy and communities.
From stunning coastlines and historic landmarks to vibrant town centres and thriving independent businesses, Bangor, Conwy and Môn offers something for everyone, making the constituency an ideal destination for day trips and longer stays.
Janet is encouraging people to shop, eat and explore locally, helping businesses that have been impacted by damaging policies from both the UK Labour Government and the former Labour Welsh Government, supported by Plaid Cymru, during one of the busiest periods of the year.
Speaking ahead of the summer holidays, Janet said:
"The summer school holidays are a wonderful opportunity to rediscover everything our communities have to offer. We are incredibly fortunate to have outstanding independent businesses, fantastic attractions and beautiful places to visit.
"Every pound spent locally supports jobs, strengthens our high streets and helps our communities thrive. Whether you're enjoying a family day out, exploring one of our coastal towns or calling into your local shop or café, your support makes a real difference.
"So, as we head into the summer break and hopefully more warm weather, I encourage everyone to get out and enjoy all that Bangor, Conwy and Môn have to offer while supporting the local businesses that are at the heart of our communities."
