On Friday, Janet Finch-Saunders, the Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, visited the Aberconwy Domestic Abuse Service. The service offers support for female and child victims, as well as freedom programmes.
Following this visit, Janet commented:
“I would like to thank Claire and all of the team members at Aberconwy Domestic Abuse Service for their warm welcome and for the vital work they do to support those experiencing domestic abuse and in need of support. It is services like this that help victims feel supported so they can leave their situations, knowing that they are not alone.
“The service has been praised for its caring and helpful staff, who have a wealth of knowledge and information. This, along with the essential work they do, should rightly be championed.
“If you, or anyone you know, is experiencing domestic abuse, please inform them of the service and the help it is able to provide."
