After attending a prestigious event celebrating the best of tourism in Wales, the National Tourism Awards for Wales, hosted at Venue Cymru, Janet Finch-Saunders MS/AS has praised the organisers and all the sector.
Commenting on the tourism awards, Janet said:
“Jim Jones of Go North Wales and Ian Williams of Visit Wales should be proud of the fantastic ceremony.
“It was wonderful spending time with leading figures in the sector, including Rebecca Evans MS, Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Energy and Planning. We had a good discussion about the pressure businesses are facing in Wales.
“My congratulations go to all who entered, the runners up, and winners. It will have been extremely difficult for the judges because of the high number of fabulous hospitality and tourism venues across the country."

Ar ôl mynychu digwyddiad mawreddog i ddathlu'r gorau o dwristiaeth yng Nghymru, Gwobrau Twristiaeth Cenedlaethol Cymru, a gynhaliwyd yn Venue Cymru, mae Janet Finch-Saunders AS wedi canmol y trefnwyr a'r sector cyfan.
Wrth sôn am y gwobrau twristiaeth, dywedodd Janet:
"Dylai Jim Jones o Go North Wales ac Ian Williams o Croeso Cymru fod yn falch iawn o'r seremoni benigamp.
"Roedd hi’n wych treulio amser gyda ffigyrau blaenllaw yn y sector, gan gynnwys Rebecca Evans AS, Ysgrifennydd y Cabinet dros yr Economi, Ynni a Chynllunio. Cawsom drafodaeth dda am y pwysau y mae busnesau yn ei wynebu yng Nghymru.
"Llongyfarchiadau i bawb a fu’n cymryd rhan ac i’r enillwyr. Mae’n rhaid ei bod wedi bod yn andros o anodd i’r beirniaid benderfynu ar y gwobrau, yn sgil y nifer anhygoel o uchel o leoliadau lletygarwch a thwristiaeth gwych ledled y wlad."
