Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, is delighted to invite constituents to the free first aid training she is hosting with St John Ambulance.

The training will take place in Craig-y-Don’s Community Centre at 14:00 on Friday 21 March.

Training will include how to manage an incident, primary survey and resuscitation (CPR), treating an unresponsive casualty, bleeding, and chocking.

There are a maximum of 30 spaces on the course, so booking is essential. Do so by calling 01492 871198 or emailing [email protected]

Commenting on the course Janet said:

“Learning first aid equips you to provide immediate care in emergency situations, potentially saving lives by stabilising a patient until professional medical help arrives.

“Despite even the most simple of first aid having the potential to make a huge difference, only 1 in 20 people know what to do in an emergency.

“I’m delighted to be cooperating with St John Ambulance to offer free training here in Aberconwy. By dedicating only a few hours of your time to this course, you could go on to save a life!”.

Mae Janet Finch-Saunders, yr Aelod o'r Senedd dros Aberconwy, yn falch iawn o wahodd etholwyr i'r hyfforddiant cymorth cyntaf am ddim y mae'n ei gynnal gydag Ambiwlans Sant Ioan.

Bydd yr hyfforddiant yn cael ei gynnal yng Nghanolfan Gymunedol Craig-y-Don ddydd Gwener 21 Mawrth am 14:00.

Bydd yr hyfforddiant yn cynnwys sut i reoli digwyddiad, arolwg sylfaenol ac adfywio (CPR), trin rhywun sy'n anymatebol, gwaedu a thagu.

Mae uchafswm o 30 o leoedd ar y cwrs, felly mae'n hanfodol eich bod yn archebu lle. Gwnewch hynny drwy ffonio 01492 871198 neu e-bostio [email protected]

Wrth sôn am y cwrs, dywedodd Janet:

“Mae dysgu cymorth cyntaf yn eich galluogi i ddarparu gofal ar unwaith mewn argyfwng, gan achub bywydau o bosibl drwy sefydlogi claf nes bod help meddygol proffesiynol yn cyrraedd.

“Er bod gan hyd yn oed y cymorth cyntaf symlaf y potensial i wneud gwahaniaeth enfawr, dim ond 1 o bob 20 o bobl sy'n gwybod beth i'w wneud mewn argyfwng.

“Rwy'n falch iawn o fod yn cydweithio ag Ambiwlans Sant Ioan i gynnig hyfforddiant am ddim yma yn Aberconwy. Drwy neilltuo ychydig oriau yn unig o'ch amser i'r cwrs hwn, fe allech chi fynd ymlaen i achub bywyd!”.
