Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy is calling for urgent action to tackle the issue of anti-social behaviour in Llandudno.

Reports from residents, businesses, and visitors highlight a troubling trend of disorderly conduct, intimidation, and criminal damage across the town.

Recent incidents include groups of youths intimidating pub staff and customers, goading individuals into confrontations, and using provocative language. There have also been alarming cases at Llandudno General Hospital, where a mattress was set on fire, nursing staff have been subjected to verbal abuse, and hospital toilets have been deliberately flooded.

Commenting on the issue, Janet said:

“The reports of anti-social behaviour in Llandudno are deeply troubling. Residents, businesses, and visitors should feel safe in our town. The level of disorder must be addressed urgently.”

“To tackle this serious problem and other concerns, I will be hosting a public meeting on February 7th from 6pm to 7:30pm at The Lilly Hotel in Westshore. This meeting will provide residents with an opportunity to share their concerns, discuss potential solutions, and hold a constructive dialogue on ways to improve safety and order in our town.

“There must be consequences for those engaging in anti-social behaviour. The safety and well-being of our residents is paramount, and I urge the public to attend this meeting so we can work together towards a solution.

“To book a place at the meeting, please contact my office at 01492 871 198 or email me at [email protected].”
