Jane yesterday spoke briefly on the Welsh Conservative debate on Council-Owned farms across Wales. Sadly, with more land being sold and fewer tenancies available, young entrants face diminishing chances to break into the industry. Unfortunately, current policies like the SFS are worsening the situation. We must support smallholdings, and help the next generation of farmers thrive, and back comprehensive food-focused legislation.
