Janet has yesterday spoken on the planned closures by NRW of some of their Visitor Centres. Visitors rely on these amenities for a full experience, and without them, the centres risk becoming less accessible and less appealing, and as such will be subject to a steady decline in use. Around 100,000 people visit the Coed-y-Brenin bike centre in Gwynedd attraction each year, how NRW cannot operate a shop and café at that location with such great footfall really must be down to seriously poor business acumen.
