Today Janet responded to the Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs regarding Wales's rivers, lakes and seas and their continual pollution. She drew attention to projects and initiatives that could help reduce pollution in our rivers and seas, while also highlighting that the revenue for fines by regulatory bodies in Wales for Welsh environmental breaches remain in the Wales should not be sent to the treasury in London. Rather than Westminster pocketing this money it could, and should, be spent on improving our water infrastructure.
