Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy was delighted to visit the Anglesey Agricultural Show yesterday.

The Anglesey Agricultural Show is a two-day event held annually in the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, offering a wonderful day out for the entire family.

Attendees enjoyed impressive livestock displays, explore local produce, arts, and crafts, and watched thrilling equestrian events from the ringside. There was also be a diverse selection of trade stands featuring farm machinery and country pursuits, along with live performances and family-friendly activities in the newly introduced Entertainment Zone.

Commenting on the event Janet said:

“It was a pleasure to attend the Anglesey Agricultural Show again this year. It was extremely busy with many people showcasing their fresh produce, food and flowers!

“I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone involved in organising the event. Your efforts made it a truly enjoyable occasion for all, and it was a fantastic day.

“I spoke to a whole host of people about a vast range of topics, chief among them was the Welsh Government’s proposed Sustainable Farming Scheme and the state of Welsh food security.

“These are extremely pressing issues and I am glad that so many of you were voicing your thoughts.

“I would like to thank my colleague James Evans MS for his public consultation on the Welsh Conservative’s proposed Welsh Farming and Countryside Scheme, our alternative to the socialistic Sustainable Farming Scheme. It can be found here.

“I would also like to thank Dwr Cymru who kindly passed out free bottles of water due to the sweltering heat.

“I hope everyone else enjoyed a fantastic show and I cannot wait for next year!”
