ABERCONWY AM stands up for local maternity services
Today the Welsh Conservative AM, Janet Finch-Saunders met with Marsha Davies, leader of campaign group, Save Doctor- led maternity services North Wales, to present the Daily Post’s petition for the retention of current maternity services at Ysbyty Glan Clywd.
Commenting on the petition, that gained more than 15,000 supporters, the AM said:
“The people of North Wales have, quite rightly, made their opinion clear. The Welsh Government cannot continue to ignore them.”
“The withdrawal of these services could put the lives of mothers and their babies at risk. The Welsh Government must intervene and prevent these proposals becoming reality.”
