Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, is encouraging constituents to do something funny for money this Red Nose Day.

Bake the wonkiest cake, run backwards dressed as a lobster, host a silly games night for your friends. Whatever you do this Red Nose Day, be sure to raise a smile, a laugh and a whole load of cash. The money you raise could help put food on plates and roofs over heads, keep little ones safe and help support families affected by conflict and climate change.

Commenting on this exciting day, Janet said:

“Comic Relief supports incredible projects and organisations that are making a difference for people across the UK and around the world.

“Across Aberconwy residents are helping raise funds for this invaluable organisation.

“Over the last few years, Comic Relief has helped to support 3 million people. Let’s help ensure that support can continue to be provided”.

Mae Janet Finch-Saunders, yr Aelod o Senedd Cymru dros Aberconwy, yn annog etholwyr i wneud rhywbeth doniol i godi arian ar Ddiwrnod Trwynau Coch Comic Relief eleni.

Pobwch y gacen fwyaf cam, rhedwch am yn ôl mewn gwisg cimwch, cynhaliwch noson o gemau gwirion ar gyfer ffrindiau. Beth bynnag fyddwch chi’n ei wneud ar y diwrnod, gwnewch yn siŵr eich bod yn codi gwên, yn gwneud i bobl chwerthin ac yn codi llwyth o arian. Gallai’r arian rydych chi’n ei godi helpu i roi bwyd ar blât i rywun a tho uwch ei ben, gallai gadw plant bach yn ddiogel a helpu i gefnogi teuluoedd sydd wedi’u heffeithio gan wrthdaro a newid hinsawdd.

Wrth sôn am y diwrnod cyffrous, dywedodd Janet:

“Mae Comic Relief yn cefnogi prosiectau a sefydliadau anhygoel sy’n gwneud gwahaniaeth i bobl ledled y DU ac ar draws y byd.

“Mae trigolion o bob cwr o Aberconwy yn helpu i godi arian ar gyfer y sefydliad gwerthfawr hwn.

“Dros y blynyddoedd diwethaf, mae Comic Relief wedi helpu i gefnogi 3 miliwn o bobl. Gadewch i ni helpu i sicrhau bod modd parhau i ddarparu’r gefnogaeth honno”.
