The Llandudno Tourism Information Centre has been praised for its excellent role in promoting local businesses.
Situated in the town’s Victoria shopping centre, the tourism information hub offers a wide range of services, including help with booking accommodation, advice on planning a day out, tasty treats and locally crafted gifts for that someone special.
Following a visit to the Centre, Janet Finch-Saunders MS said:
“With tourism in Conwy County now worth £1.1 billion, it is essential that we take a series of measures to not only protect, but strengthen that investment. I consider the Tourist Information Centre an important contributor to that effort.
“They offer a long list of services, including accommodation booking, local coach tour bookings, and event information.
“In addition to helping the tourism sector ensure that guests have the best possible experience in Llandudno and Conwy County, they also offer something for all: local food and crafts.
“The collection of Welsh products for sale in the shop is wonderful. Now that Christmas is a month away, I urge you to include a visit to the Centre when looking for a special gift”.

Mae Canolfan Groeso Llandudno wedi’i chanmol am ei rôl ragorol yn hyrwyddo busnesau lleol.
Wedi'i lleoli yng nghanolfan siopa Victoria yn y dref, mae'r ganolfan groeso yn cynnig ystod eang o wasanaethau, gan gynnwys help i archebu llety, cyngor ar gynllunio gwibdaith, danteithion blasus ac anrhegion wedi'u crefftio'n lleol fel anrhegion i anwyliaid.
Yn dilyn ei hymweliad â'r Ganolfan, dywedodd Janet Finch-Saunders AS:
"Gyda thwristiaeth yn Sir Conwy bellach yn werth £1.1 biliwn, mae'n hanfodol ein bod yn cymryd cyfres o fesurau nid yn unig i ddiogelu, ond atgyfnerthu'r buddsoddiad hwnnw. Credaf fod y Ganolfan Groeso yn gwneud cyfraniad heb ei ail i'r ymdrech honno.
"Maen nhw'n cynnig rhestr hir o wasanaethau, gan gynnwys archebu llety, archebu teithiau bws lleol, a gwybodaeth am ddigwyddiadau.
"Yn ogystal â helpu'r sector twristiaeth i sicrhau bod gwesteion yn cael y profiad gorau posib yn Llandudno a Sir Conwy, maen nhw hefyd yn cynnig rhywbeth i bawb: bwyd a chrefftau lleol.
"Mae'r casgliad o gynnyrch Cymreig sydd ar werth yn y siop yn fendigedig. Gyda’r Nadolig cwta fis i ffwrdd, rwy'n eich annog i ymweld â’r Ganolfan wrth chwilio am anrheg arbennig".
