North Shore Beach

Over 7,000 people have now signed the petition calling for the Welsh Government to fund both the removal of quarry rocks and the restoration of sand and groynes to Llandudno North Shore beach.

In order for the petition to be considered for debate in the Welsh Parliament, 10,000 signatures are needed. The petition is currently on 7,095.

You can sign the petition here.

Janet Finch-Saunders MS is working with Cllr. Ian Turner and residents to help restore sand to North Shore beach.

Speaking about the petition, Janet said:

“We are fast approaching the 10,000 signatures needed to help us restore our beach to its former glory.

“Cllr. Ian Turner is working tirelessly, and his countless efforts to make our beach safe to be enjoyed by all again is truly appreciated.

“Thank you to the volunteers at the stand on the Promenade working hard to gain petition signatures. Your hard work is helping us get one step closer to saving our beach.

“7,000 signatures is a fantastic milestone to reach, and I am proud of our community for gathering together to fight for a cause we all care about.

“Please support our beach by signing the online petition, and help us reach 10,000!”

Erbyn hyn, mae dros 7,000 o bobl wedi llofnodi’r ddeiseb yn galw ar Lywodraeth Cymru i ariannu’r gwaith o symud creigiau chwarel ac adfer tywod a grwynau i Lannau Gogledd Llandudno.

Er mwyn i’r Senedd drafod y ddeiseb, mae angen 10,000 o lofnodion. 7,095 sydd wedi llofnodi ar hyn o bryd.

Gallwch lofnodi’r ddeiseb yma.

Mae Janet Finch-Saunders AS yn gweithio gyda’r Cyngh Ian Turner a thrigolion i helpu i adfer tywod ar draeth y Gogledd.

Wrth siarad am y ddeiseb, dywedodd Janet:

“Rydyn ni bron â chyrraedd y 10,000 o lofnodion sydd eu hangen i’n helpu ni i adfer ein traeth i’w hen ogoniant.

“Mae’r Cyngh Ian Turner yn gweithio’n ddiflino, ac rydym yn gwerthfawrogi’n fawr ei ymdrechion di-baid i wneud ein traeth yn ddiogel i’w fwynhau gan bawb eto.

“Diolch i’r gwirfoddolwyr yn y stondin ar y Prom sy’n gweithio’n galed i gael pobl i lofnodi’r ddeiseb. Mae eich gwaith caled yn ein helpu ni i ddod gam yn agosach at achub ein traeth.

“Mae 7,000 o lofnodion yn garreg filltir wych i’w chyrraedd, ac rwy’n falch o’n cymuned am ddod ynghyd i ymladd dros achos sy’n bwysig i ni gyd.

“Cefnogwch ein traeth drwy lofnodi ein deiseb ar-lein, a’n helpu ni i gyrraedd 10,000.”
