Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, has praised the organisers of the Victorian Extravaganza and Llandudno Transport Festival, for the huge success of the events that took place in Wales’s leading seaside destination over the bank holiday weekend.
2023 was an extra special year for the Transport Festival as it was celebrating its 30th anniversary. It is now the largest event of its kind in Wales.
The Extravaganza has been taking place for over 35 years.
Speaking after the weekend, Janet said:
“I would like to thank everyone who made the Victorian Extravaganza and Llandudno Transport Festival possible.
“Your selfless actions have brought joy to the lives of thousands of people.
“Your selfless actions have brought more people to stay in our local hotels.
“Your selfless actions are yet another reason why Llandudno is truly the Queen of Welsh seaside resorts.
“I look forward to 2024. I know how hard the organisers have to work to make the weekend a reality, so if you are interested in helping out, I would recommend that you get in touch.”

Mae Janet Finch-Saunders, Aelod o’r Senedd dros Aberconwy, wedi canmol trefnwyr Strafagansa Fictoraidd a Gŵyl Gludiant Llandudno am lwyddiant ysgubol y digwyddiadau a gynhaliwyd ym mhrif gyrchfan glan môr Cymru dros benwythnos gŵyl y banc.

"Mae’ch gweithredoedd anhunanol wedi dod â llawenydd i fywydau miloedd o bobl.
"Mae’ch gweithredoedd anhunanol wedi denu mwy o bobl i aros yn ein gwestai lleol.
"Mae’ch gweithredoedd anhunanol yn rheswm arall pam mai Llandudno yw Brenhines cyrchfannau glan môr Cymru.
"Rwy'n edrych ymlaen at 2024 ac yn gwybod pa mor galed y mae'n rhaid i'r trefnwyr weithio i gynnal y penwythnos, felly os oes gennych chi ddiddordeb mewn helpu, byddwn yn argymell eich bod yn cysylltu â nhw."
