Janet Finch-Saunders MS is urging young people to make the most of the opportunities surrounding National Careers Week.

The Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy has highlighted the crucial need to improve the future prospects of young people right across the UK.

National Careers Week is currently being celebrated from 6th – 11th of March 2023.

NCW is a dedicated week every year allowing schools, colleges, universities, alternative provision settings and organisations to work towards.

Speaking today, Janet said:

“I am delighted to raise awareness of National Careers Week.

“Young people are our future, and we must maximise the opportunities available to them.

“We must ensure young people are fully equipped to pursue a career in the world of work.

“It’s vital that they are made aware of the widest range of options, so that they can choose a career they will excel in and live up to their full potential.

“If you are still in school or college, I know that teachers can provide excellent guidance, but if you have left, visit North Wales Training in Llandudno”.
