Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, has praised Allison Watson, owner of Aliscrafts, Penmaenmawr, for creating a crafting and community treasure trove in the town.
Aliscrafts is a wool shop that has everything to meet your knitting/crochet needs. There are a great variety of colours, yarns, and patterns available.
The store holds classes, ranging from sewing to needle felting.
Speaking after visiting the shop, Janet said:
“I’ve just been to haberdashery heaven! It was so wonderful to see a rainbow of yarns, and Welsh wool being sold in this charming shop.
“As many business people will know, local shops are more than a place to quickly pop in and buy an item. For many of us, they are a spot for socialising and friendship. In Penmaenmawr, Allison has succeeded to develop a centre that is brining joy to the community.
“Should you be interested in developing a new skill, please do call in to Aliscrafts. They have everything you need for crafting, and most importantly, friendly advice”.

Meddai Janet ar ôl ymweld â'r siop:
"Dw i newydd fod ym mharadwys crefft! Roedd hi mor wych gweld enfys o edafedd, a gwlân o Gymru’n cael ei werthu yn y siop hyfryd hon.
"Fel y bydd llawer o bobl fusnes yn gwybod, mae siopau lleol yn fwy na lle i alw heibio'n gyflym a phrynu eitem. I lawer ohonom ni, maen nhw'n lle i gymdeithasu a gwneud ffrindiau. Ym Mhenmaenmawr, mae Allison wedi llwyddo i ddatblygu canolfan sy’n dod â llawenydd i'r gymuned.
"Os oes gennych chi ddiddordeb mewn datblygu sgil newydd, galwch heibio Aliscrafts. Mae ganddyn nhw bopeth sydd ei angen arnoch chi ar gyfer crefft, ac yn bwysicaf oll, cyngor cyfeillgar".
