Janet Finch-Saunders MS and Darren Millar MS had the pleasure of officially opening Worsleywear, a major new clothing warehouse and shop located at Tayna Business Park, High St, Abergele, on Friday 21 October.
The shop is owned by Dan Worsley, and has 175,000 items of stock, with something for every generation.
Commenting after cutting the ribbon, Janet said:
“The shop has a vast array of ladies and gents’ underwear, luxury lingerie, children and toddler clothing, and much more, all at low cost prices.
“Dan has been in this business for years, having previously had three retail shops. I am proud of his effort to provide good quality reasonably priced clothing to residents.
“He is a community man, and recently donated £10,000 of underwear to help the people of Ukraine.
“I wish Dan and Worsleywear every success”.
Darren Miller MS, added:
“It was a pleasure to conduct the official opening of Worsleywear in Abergele with Janet. At a time when many retail shops are closing due to competition from online retailers, it is great to see a new one opening in Abergele.
“The shop has an impressive range of stock and I am sure it will prove popular with customers of all ages.
“I wish Dan every success with his new venture.”

Cafodd Janet Finch-Saunders AS a Darren Millar AS y pleser o agor Worsleywear yn swyddogol, sef siop a warws ddillad newydd fawr ym Mharc Busnes Tayna, Stryd Fawr, Abergele, ddydd Gwener 21 Hydref.
Dan Worsley sy'n berchen ar y siop, ac roedd ganddo 175,000 o eitemau o stoc, gyda rhywbeth i bob cenhedlaeth.
Ar ôl torri'r rhuban, dywedodd Janet:
“Mae gan y siop amrywiaeth helaeth o ddillad isaf menywod a dynion, lingerie moethus, dillad plant a phlant bach, a llawer mwy, i gyd am brisiau isel.
“Mae Dan wedi bod yn y busnes ers blynyddoedd, ac wedi bod yn berchen ar dair siop fanwerthu yn y gorffennol. Rwy'n falch o'i ymdrech i ddarparu dillad o ansawdd uchel am brisiau rhesymol i bobl leol.
“Mae'n ddyn ei gymuned ac, yn ddiweddar, rhoddodd gwerth £10,000 o ddillad isaf i helpu pobl Wcráin.
“Rwy'n dymuno pob llwyddiant i Dan a Worsleywear”.
Ychwanegodd Darren Miller AS:
“Pleser o'r mwyaf oedd cael agor Worsleywear yn swyddogol yn Abergele gyda Janet. Ar adeg pan mae nifer o siopau manwerthu yn cau oherwydd y gystadleuaeth gan fanwerthwyr ar-lein, mae'n wych gweld un newydd yn agor yn Abergele.
“Mae gan y siop amrywiaeth drawiadol o stoc ac rwy'n siŵr y bydd yn boblogaidd gyda chwsmeriaid o bob oedran.
“Rwy'n dymuno pob llwyddiant i Dan gyda'i fenter newydd.”
