Janet Finch-Saunders, the Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, has recently visited Murphy & Co Veterinary Practice in Llandudno. This local vet has been caring for much loved pets for a decade and has built an impressive relationship with the community.
Commenting after the visit Janet said:
“It was incredible to have visited Murphy & Co Vets on their 10th year of trading. This local business has continuously, even throughout the difficulties that vets faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, provided an outstanding service to the people of Aberconwy and their beloved pets.
“Having previously raised concerns with the British Veterinary Association (BVA) and Fiona Murphy regarding the availability of exotic vets in North Wales, I am delighted to see that Murphy & Co Vets are now working to provide an exotic vet service.
“While there is a shortage of vets and veterinary training placements across Wales, it is marvellous to have such a high calibre veterinary practice right on our doorstep.
“It was impressive to see the state-of-the-art equipment used at this practice to always provide the highest standard of care. The passion that the entire team have for animals and their welfare was clear throughout my visit.
“After such an informative and enjoyable visit, I would like to congratulate everyone at Murphy & Co Veterinary Practice for reaching this impressive milestone and I would wish them all the very best for another decade and more.”

Ymweliad â phractis milfeddygol lleol sy’n dathlu 10 mlynedd o ofalu am anifeiliaid
Bu Janet Finch-Saunders, yr Aelod o’r Senedd dros Aberconwy, yn ymweld â Phractis Milfeddygol Murphy & Co yn Llandudno yn ddiweddar. Mae’r practis milfeddygol hwn wedi bod yn gofalu am anifeiliaid anwes ers degawd gan feithrin perthynas ragorol â’r gymuned.
Meddai Janet ar ôl yr ymweliad:
“Roeddwn i wrth fy modd yn ymweld â Phractis Milfeddygol Murphy & Co ar ddegfed pen-blwydd y cwmni. Mae’r busnes lleol hwn wedi darparu gwasanaeth rhagorol i bobl Aberconwy a’u hanifeiliaid anwes yn gyson, hyd yn oed yn ystod cyfnod anodd pandemig COVID-19.
“Fel rhywun sydd wedi mynegi pryderon i Gymdeithas Milfeddygon Prydain a Fiona Murphy yn y gorffennol ynglŷn ag argaeledd milfeddygon sy’n gallu trin anifeiliaid anwes egsotig yn y Gogledd, rwy’n falch iawn o weld bod Murphy & Co yn gweithio i ddarparu gwasanaeth ar gyfer anifeiliaid anwes egsotig erbyn hyn.
“Er bod prinder milfeddygon a lleoliadau hyfforddi milfeddygon ledled Cymru, rydym yn ffodus iawn bod gennym bractis milfeddygol o ansawdd uchel ar ein carreg drws.
“Roedd yn drawiadol iawn gweld y cyfarpar o’r radd flaenaf sy’n cael ei ddefnyddio yn y practis i ddarparu gofal o’r safon uchaf bob amser. Roedd angerdd yr holl dîm dros anifeiliaid a’u lles yn amlwg iawn gydol fy ymweliad.
“Yn dilyn ymweliad mor addysgiadol a phleserus, hoffwn longyfarch pawb ym Mhractis Milfeddygol Murphy & Co ar gyrraedd y garreg filltir nodedig hon, a dymunaf y gorau iddynt ar gyfer degawd llwyddiannus arall.”
