Following discussions with Openreach regarding the recent installation of poles carrying fibre cables across the Liddell Park Estate, and concerns being raised by residents, the Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, Janet Finch-Saunders, has called arrange a surgery with Openreach.
Commenting on after her visit Janet said:
“Many residents have expressed their serious concerns regarding the installation of these wooden poles and the impact they, and the fibre cables they carry, have on the area.
“Having discussed this situation with Openreach I have arranged for this surgery to take place so that residents can discuss their concerns directly with senior officials at Openreach and for the organisation to have the opportunity to address these concerns.
“The surgery will be held at Craig-y-Don Sports & Community centre from 6pm till 7:30pm on Friday 10th of June.
“Should residents of Liddell Park wish to attend this meeting I would ask that they contact my office on 01492 871 198 to register their attendance.”

AS Aberconwy i gynnal cymhorthfa gydag Openreach
Yn dilyn trafodaeth gydag Openreach ynglŷn â'r gwaith diweddar o osod polion cario ceblau ffibr ar draws Ystad Liddell Park, a'r pryderon a godwyd gan drigolion, mae Janet Finch-Saunders, yr Aelod o Senedd Cymru dros Aberconwy, wedi galw am drefnu cymhorthfa gydag Openreach.
Wrth sôn am ei hymweliad, dywedodd Janet:
“Mae llawer o drigolion wedi mynegi pryderon difrifol am osod y polion pren hyn a'u heffaith nhw a'r ceblau ffibr uwchben ar yr ardal.
“Ar ôl trafod y sefyllfa gydag Openreach rwyf wedi trefnu cymhorthfa er mwyn rhoi cyfle i'r trigolion ddweud eu dweud yn uniongyrchol wrth uwch swyddogion Openreach ac i’r sefydliad gael cyfle ymateb i’r pryderon hyn.
“Cynhelir y gymhorthfa yng Nghanolfan Chwaraeon a Chymuned Craig-y-Don rhwng 6 a 7.30 o'r gloch nos Wener 10 Mehefin.
“Os bydd unrhyw un o drigolion Liddell Park yn dymuno mynychu'r cyfarfod hwn, dylen nhw ffonio fy swyddfa ar 01492 871 198 i gofrestru eu presenoldeb.”
