The Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, Janet Finch-Saunders, has attended a celebration to mark the first anniversary of Penderyn Distillery & Visitor Centre in Llandudno.
Commenting on after her visit Janet said:
“I would like to pass on my congratulations to Penderyn for celebrating its first birthday in Llandudno. This distillery has become a staple attraction of our Town, with visitors and locals alike enjoying the guided tours and masterclasses available at this location.
“12 months after its opening I am truly delighted to see the continued success of this establishment. It is clear to see that Mr Stephen Davies, Chief Executive, and his team continue to work hard to provide a unique and memorable experience to all that visit this beautiful facility.
“Furthermore, I am thrilled to learn that this distillery has now begun producing its fabulous Welsh whiskey which will begin its maturing process. In years to come residents will have the opportunity to purchase a spirit created right here in Llandudno.
“With many more successful years ahead I would like to wish the entire team at Penderyn Distillery all the very best for celebrating this momentous occasion.”

Ar ôl yr ymweliad, dywedodd Janet:
“Hoffwn longyfarch cwmni Penderyn ar ddathlu ei ben-blwydd cyntaf yn Llandudno. Mae’r ddistyllfa yn un o brif atyniadau’r dref bellach, ac mae ymwelwyr a phobl leol fel ei gilydd yn mwynhau’r teithiau tywys a’r dosbarthiadau meistr sydd ar gael ar y safle.
“Ddeuddeg mis ar ôl agor y sefydliad, rwyf wrth fy modd yn gweld y ganolfan yn mynd o nerth i nerth. Mae’n amlwg bod y Prif Weithredwr, Mr Stephen Davies, a’i dîm yn parhau i weithio’n galed i gynnig profiad unigryw a chofiadwy i bawb sy’n ymweld â’r cyfleuster rhagorol hwn.
“Hefyd, rwyf wrth fy modd yn clywed bod y ddistyllfa wedi dechrau cynhyrchu ei wisgi Cymreig rhagorol, ac y bydd y broses aeddfedu yn cychwyn cyn bo hir. Yn y blynyddoedd i ddod, bydd gan drigolion y cyfle i brynu gwirod sydd wedi’i wneud yma yn Llandudno.
“Mae blynyddoedd lawer o lwyddiant ar y gweill, a hoffwn ddymuno’n dda i holl dîm Distyllfa Penderyn wrth ddathlu’r achlysur pwysig hwn.”
