Llandudno Dog Protests – Public Meeting Called
Janet Finch-Saunders AM is holding a public meeting to address this issue – open to all – at 6pm, Thursday 20th July, in the Bodafon Suite of the Imperial Hotel, Llandudno. Poster attached. Media are invited to attend.
A protest march held last Sunday saw large numbers of dogs and their owners turn out at Llandudno’s West Shore to speak out against concerns regarding enforcement procedures for FPNs by, and on behalf of, Conwy County Borough Council.
Commenting on the march, Aberconwy Assembly Member, Janet Finch-Saunders AM said:
“It was an amazing turnout of our four-legged friends and their owners. The overall consensus was that people are feeling intimidated, frightened when walking their dogs, and that something has to change.
“As the previous Cabinet Member for this particular department, with responsibility for enforcement, it is fair to say that I do have serious concerns on this matter.
“I will be addressing this issue at my forthcoming public meeting, and invite all those with concerns to attend and make their voices heard.”
