In today’s debate seeking to introduce Mohammad Asghar’s Member Proposed Bill on Enterprise, Cllr Janet Finch-Saunders AM said:
“Clear, independently-set targets set out in legislation will build confidence in our Welsh enterprises and entrepreneurs by: increasing our skilled labour market, developing a reliable transport system and empowering entrepreneurs through clear start-up procedures.
“This confidence will benefit our economy by improving inward investment, as well as increasing demand for exports, encouraging better support from the financial sector for enterprises and creating more jobs.
“I am disappointed at the lack of support in the Assembly today from other parties. The Welsh Conservatives have always recognised that businesses are the lifeblood of our economy and we shall remain the real champions of the business community here in Wales.”
