Following the announcement of the internal consultation on the proposed closure of the Urgent Primary Care Centre at Ysbyty Penrhos Stanley, Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Senedd for Bangor, Conwy Môn, has launched a campaign to save the care centre.
Janet commented:
“The proposed closure of the Urgent Primary Care Centre is deeply concerning. The closure of this community care provision would have a devastating impact on Ynys Môn. This is a further blow to patients and constituents across Bangor, Conwy Môn.
“It is vital that Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board supports these centres to remain open. Without them, existing waiting times could increase, potentially leading to delays in treatment.
“I have written to the Cabinet Minister for Health and Care, calling on him to intervene and ensure that the care centre remains open. In addition, I have launched this campaign, which can be found on my website:

“It is essential that you have your say on this proposed closure. I urge you to sign my petition and write to Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board to oppose the closure.”
