On Thursday 10th April 2025, Ysgol y Gogarth hosted the North & Mid Wales Table Cricket Day. This was an exciting event, filled with lots of fun, where three schools, Ysgol y Gogarth, Ysgol Tir Morfa and, Ysgol Pendalar, showcased their talents.
Janet Finch-Saunders, the Member of Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, was delighted to attend the event and present the awards. Janet enjoyed the opportunity to watch the final game.
All the participants were incredibly talented and should be congratulated on their brilliant performances.
Commenting on the table cricket tournament, Janet said:
“My congratulations goes to all those who participated in the tournament. It was a fantastic event to have attended, and I was delighted to have been able to present the awards.
“ I would also like to thank Joe Lambe, the Cricket Wales, Cricket Development Officer, for inviting me to the event.
“It was a brilliant and enjoyable day, where so much talent was on display for us all to see.”

Ddydd Iau 10 Ebrill 2025, cynhaliodd Ysgol y Gogarth Ddiwrnod Criced Bwrdd Gogledd a Chanolbarth Cymru. Roedd yn ddigwyddiad cyffrous, llawn hwyl, lle’r oedd tair ysgol, Ysgol y Gogarth, Ysgol Tir Morfa ac Ysgol Pendalar, yn arddangos eu doniau.
Roedd Janet Finch-Saunders, yr Aelod o’r Senedd dros Aberconwy, yn falch iawn o fynychu'r digwyddiad a chyflwyno'r gwobrau. Cafodd hwyl yn gwylio'r gêm derfynol.
Roedd yr holl gyfranogwyr yn hynod dalentog a dylid eu llongyfarch ar eu perfformiadau gwych.
Wrth sôn am y twrnamaint criced bwrdd, dywedodd Janet:
"Llongyfarchiadau i bawb a gymerodd ran yn y twrnamaint. Roedd yn ddigwyddiad gwych, ac roedd yn bleser cael cyflwyno'r gwobrau.
"Hoffwn ddiolch hefyd i Joe Lambe, Swyddog Datblygu Criced Cymru, am fy ngwahodd i'r digwyddiad.
"Roedd yn ddiwrnod gwych a phleserus, gyda chymaint o dalent i’w weld."
