Welsh Mountain Zoo is a fantastic destination that draws in visitors from across the country and plays a valuable role in Wales’ tourism industry.
On Friday 11th April, Janet Finch-Saunders, the Member of Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, visited the zoo, which is based in Colwyn Bay. Where she thoroughly enjoyed seeing the wide variety of animals, plants, and spaces the zoo has to offer.
The zoo is looking for more volunteers to help with the animals and the site. This is a brilliant opportunity, for people who love animals and nature to get involved in a good cause.
Commenting on the visit, Janet said:
“Welsh Mountain Zoo is phenomenal, and I highly encourage people to visit, especially now during the Easter holiday.
“There is so much on offer, and it provides an incredible chance to see a wide range of animals from monkeys to red pandas to seals. There is truly something for everyone.
“The zoo also plays an important role in attracting people to Wales, which helps support both the Welsh tourism industry and the wider economy.
“I also want to thank Mickaela for welcoming me and for showing me around the site.”
