Janet Finch-Saunders MS has expressed her thanks to all pupils and teachers at St David’s College for their warm welcome during a visit to the school today.
From its foundation in 1965, St David’s College, for boarding and day pupils, has pioneered teaching that enables pupils to reach their full potential. Integral to this is the aim to develop every child’s character, enabling them to gain an extraordinary range of skills, to discover true self-confidence and appreciate a real sense of belonging.
Speaking after the visit, Janet said:
“It was great to spend time at St David’s College.
“They are very kind hearted as is evidenced by their donation of 155 advent calendars and around 10 other chocolate selection boxes to Hope Restored food bank in West Shore.
“The school won the Innovation Prize at the Independent School of the Year Awards, and I could see why. The facilities, education, and extra-curricular activities are incredible.”
