Janet has today raised with the Cabinet Secretary for Education the importance of Pupil Referral Units. They are crucial in offering alternative provisions for learners who have faced ongoing challenges in accessing and participating in mainstream schools. The funding formula is now meaning that funding could be cut and certainly not expanded within Conwy County for these units.
