Commenting on Llandudno’s success, Janet said:

“Everyone living and working in our town should be proud of the fact that we are offering the winning formula in Wales for a relaxing getaway.

“After a horrendous year and a half for hospitality, it is a brilliant boost to learn that the effort of our community is seeing Llandudno retain her prestigious reputation.

“Hotels are fully booked, significant investments are being made in expanding the tourism offer, and there is such passion for making the sector even stronger.

“I am sure that Llandudno will not only retain her crown, but continue to be a glorious location from which visitors can explore the whole of North Wales”.
