Janet Finch-Saunders MS, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, is supporting National Careers Week by encouraging residents across Aberconwy to dedicate some time this week to considering future careers.

National Careers Week, which runs from 7th to 12th March is a celebration of careers guidance and free resources in education across the UK.

Commenting on future employment opportunities in Wales, Janet said:

“Whilst I am pleased to be working in the Senedd to drive a green and more diverse economy across Wales, Aberconwy does already have exciting career opportunities.

“Tourism, renewables, finance, housing, the arts, farming, and food are just some examples of where residents are pursuing exciting careers locally.

“Every job undertaken has an impact on society, so it is worth dedicating time to find the right one for you.

“Should there be a particular sector that you would like to see more opportunities in, please do let me know so that I can establish if more can be done at a national level to foster local chances”

Mae Janet Finch-Saunders AS, Aelod o’r Senedd dros Aberconwy, yn cefnogi Wythnos Genedlaethol Gyrfaoedd drwy annog trigolion Aberconwy i neilltuo peth amser yr wythnos hon i ystyried gyrfaoedd yn y dyfodol.

Mae Wythnos Genedlaethol Gyrfaoedd a gynhelir rhwng 7 a 12 Mawrth yn ddathliad o gyfarwyddyd gyrfaoedd ac adnoddau addysg am ddim ledled y DU.

Wrth sôn am gyfleoedd cyflogaeth yng Nghymru yn y dyfodol, dywedodd Janet:

“Er fy mod i'n falch o weithio yn y Senedd i lywio economi werdd a mwy amrywiol ledled Cymru, mae cyfloed gyrfa cyffrous ar gael eisoes yn Aberconwy.

“Mae twristiaeth, ynni adnewyddadwy, cyllid, tai, y celfyddydau, ffermio a bwyd ymhlith rhai o'r gyrfaoedd cyffrous sydd ar gael yn lleol.

“Mae pob swydd yn cael effaith ar gymdeithas, felly mae'n werth neilltuo amser i ddod o hyd i'r un iawn i chi.

“Os hoffech chi weld mwy o gyfleoedd mewn sector penodol, cofiwch roi gwybod i mi i weld a oes modd gwneud mwy yn genedlaethol i feithrin cyfleoedd lleol"
