Speaking ahead of the New Year celebrations, the Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy – Janet Finch-Saunders MS – has urged constituents to make supporting local businesses their new year resolution.
Commenting on her calls, Janet said:
“How our homegrown businesses have successfully bridged the challenge of the pandemic is a testament to their resilience, innovation and optimism. Small local businesses are the backbone of our communities, and we should make it our mission to support their future.
“Aberconwy is blessed to have a brilliant mix of enterprises, from farms to butchers, vineyard to vegetable stalls, craft shops to cafes, restaurants to pubs, tourist accommodation and much more.
“In the new year, I will continue to use the levers at my disposal to boost businesses so that our fantastic entrepreneurs do not have any unnecessary costs holding them back.
But together, we can also use the power of our hard earned pounds to buy local, supporting regional jobs and safeguarding the supply chains. I hope that constituents across Aberconwy share in this positive new year’s resolution with me. Blwyddyn Newydd Dda!”
