Aberconwy AM, Janet Finch-Saunders, has welcomed the commencement of road improvement works to Hospital Road, Llandudno.
The road is the main access route to Llandudno Hospital.
Janet said: “I have long campaigned to Conwy County Borough Council to undertake these much-needed improvement works.
“Many local residents and hospital staff have approached me, on several occasions given the extent to which the road has deteriorated over many years.
“Having been in detailed dialogue with the Environment, Roads and Facilities Department at the Council on this matter, I am delighted that the Council have listened to these concerns and that the signs have gone up for the commencement of these works.
“Local Councillors must now work to ensure that the Council maintains this road as a priority, given its importance in terms of access to Llandudno Hospital.”
