Following the sad passing of His Excellency Pope Francis, who continues to be praised for his humility, the Roman Catholic Parish of Conwy, Llandudno Junction Llanfairfechan, Llanwrst and Penmaenmawr are celebrating Mass for the respose of the soul of the Holy Father.
The Mass will take place at the Church of The Most Holy Family, Llandudno Junction LL31 9NU at 10am, tomorrow (25th April 2025).
The Pope set the course for his period of global leadership, and took action to care for the environment and some of the most vulnerable and poor in the world.
Commenting on the Mass arranged for Pope Francis, Janet said:
“This Mass presents people across all of Aberconwy with an opportunity to prey for the respose of the soul of Pope Francis.
“His excellency was a man of great humility who’s tireless efforts to protect the environment and support some of the poorest people globally, will be admired for centuries.
“His work will be looked on positively, and undoubtedly influence communities today and in the future.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the catholic community in Aberconwy and globally throughout this difficult time”.
