After watching Llandudno Bay being lit up by a “festival of fireworks”, Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, has spoken of her delight at the event and expressed her thanks to all the organisers.
The professional fireworks display took place at 19:30pm on Thursday 27 October 2022. Key organisers include:
- Llandudno Town Council
- Llandudno Pier
- Conwy County Borough Council
Speaking after enjoying the display, Janet said:
“With dark and cold nights upon us, it was absolutely glorious to see a festival of fireworks in our hometown.
“The Queen of Welsh resorts already has a fantastic reputation for fireworks, and she did not disappoint. We were treated to a stunning show.
“I do not doubt that the event contributes positively to our local economy, and as such I hope that we will enjoy many more over the years to come.
“Most importantly, none of this would have been possible without the selfless commitment of so many individuals, especially those at Llandudno Town Council, Llandudno Pier, and Conwy County Borough Council. Thank you!”
