FPNs

153 complaints were received by Kingdom over just 7 months regarding FPNs issued to members of the public, including for dog fouling and Dog Control Orders, the Assembly Member for Aberconwy has found.

A Freedom of Information request by the Member revealed the figures.

Janet said:

“With an average of over 20 complaints a month, it is clear that real concerns have been raised time and again with Kingdom.

“Conwy County Borough Council must be looking into why the rate of complaints is so high with regards to an organisation that they contract to undertaken work for them.

“Complaints must be considered as feedback – and the message here is clear – the public are not happy with the way the organisation is operating.

“The forthcoming protest at Bodlondeb on Saturday, and the fact that this issue that has been high on the public agenda for some time, shows that this will not go away without real, concerted action by the Council.”
