As the “Fund the removal of quarry rocks and the restoration of sand and groynes to Llandudno North Shore” Petition has reached its required goal of 10,000 signatures, there will be a formal handover of the petition.
The petition will be handed over to Jack Sargeant MS, Chair of the Petitions Committee on Friday 13th October at 15:00 on the Promenade outside the Merrion Hotel, Llandudno, LL30 2LN.
All are welcome to attend the event, and join Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy, and Cllr Ian Turner, who’s dedication and hard work has led to the achievement.
Whilst the petition has reached 10,000 signatures, it is not too late to sign! It will be open until October. You can sign it here.
Speaking about the event, Janet said:
“Please do come along on the 13th of October to help us celebrate this fantastic achievement. I am very much looking forward to joining Cllr Ian Turner to formally hand over the signed petition to Jack Sargeant MS.
“I am extremely impressed by the hard work of Cllr Ian Turner and all others who have volunteered their time to reach this point.
“Let’s hope we will soon have a sandy beach in Llandudno!”
Wrth i'r ddeiseb "Dylid ariannu gwaith i symud creigiau chwarel ac adfer tywod a grwynau i Lannau Gogledd Llandudno" gyrraedd ei nod gofynnol o 10,000 o lofnodion, bydd y ddeiseb yn cael ei throsglwyddo’n ffurfiol.
Bydd y ddeiseb yn cael ei throsglwyddo i Jack Sargeant AS, Cadeirydd y Pwyllgor Deisebau, ddydd Gwener 13 Hydref am 15:00 ar y Promenâd y tu allan i Westy’r Merrion, Llandudno, LL30 2LN.
Mae croeso i bawb fynychu’r digwyddiad, ac ymuno â Janet Finch-Saunders, Aelod o’r Senedd dros Aberconwy, a'r Cynghorydd Ian Turner, sydd wedi gweithio’n ddiflino i sicrhau hyn.
Er bod y ddeiseb wedi cyrraedd 10,000 o lofnodion, dyw hi ddim yn rhy hwyr i'w llofnodi! Bydd ar agor tan fis Hydref. Gallwch ei llofnodi yma.
Wrth siarad am y digwyddiad, dywedodd:
"Da chi, dewch draw ar y 13eg o Hydref i'n helpu i ddathlu'r cyflawniad gwych hwn. Rwy'n edrych ymlaen yn fawr at drosglwyddo'r ddeiseb yn ffurfiol i Jack Sargeant AS.
"Mae holl waith caled y Cynghorydd Ian Turner a'r gwirfoddolwyr wedi creu argraff fawr arnaf, ac rwy'n ddiolchgar i bawb sydd wedi llofnodi'r ddeiseb. Os nad ydych chi wedi gwneud hynny eto - mae amser o hyd!
"Gobeithio y cawn draeth tywodlyd yn Llandudno cyn bo hir!"
