Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy is pleased to congratulate The Rt Hon Kemi Badenoch MP on her election as Leader of the Opposition and leader of the Conservative Party.

"Daw ei chyfnod fel arweinydd ar adeg dyngedfennol, a bydd ei ffocws ar gryfhau'r economi, gwella gwasanaethau cyhoeddus a hyrwyddo rhyddid mynegiant yn hanfodol wrth arwain y blaid yn ei blaen ac wrth ddarparu gwrthblaid gref yn y Senedd.
"Mae ei hymroddiad i bolisïau cynhwysol sy'n grymuso pob unigolyn i gyflawni ei botensial wedi ysbrydoli pobl ddirifedi gydol ei gyrfa, ac rydym yn ffyddiog y bydd ei harweinyddiaeth yn dod ag egni a syniadau newydd i'r Blaid Geidwadol.
"Roedd yn bleser cefnogi Kemi yn ystod yr etholiad, ac rwy'n edrych ymlaen yn awr at weithio gyda hi a'r tîm wrth i ni ymdrechu gyda'n gilydd i sicrhau cynnydd ystyrlon ar ran pob un ohonom ni yng Nghymru a'r Deyrnas Unedig."
