Applications are now open for a £1.5 million Pride in Place Impact Fund aimed at improving community spaces, public areas and town centres across Conwy.
The funding has been provided by the UK Government and will be administered locally by Conwy County Borough Council, with projects expected to deliver visible improvements by March 2027.
Community organisations, town and community councils, and businesses in priority towns are invited to apply for capital grants to support projects that enhance public spaces, improve local facilities, and help revitalise high streets.
Janet Finch-Saunders, Senedd Member for Aberconwy said:
“This funding presents a real opportunity for communities across Conwy to invest in the places in the places that matter most to them. From improving parks and community facilities to revitalising our high streets, these projects can make a visible difference to the areas where people live and work.
I would strongly encourage community groups, local organisations and businesses to consider applying if they have ideas that could enhance the local area. Investment like this can help strengthen communities and create places that people are proud to call home.”
