Commenting on the event Janet said:
“It was a pleasure to attend the Anglesey Agricultural Show again this year. It was extremely busy with many people showcasing their fresh produce, food and flowers!
“I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone involved in organising the event. Your efforts made it a truly enjoyable occasion for all, and it was a fantastic day.
“I spoke to a whole host of people about a vast range of topics, chief among them was the Welsh Government’s proposed Sustainable Farming Scheme and the state of Welsh food security.
“These are extremely pressing issues and I am glad that so many of you were voicing your thoughts.
“I would like to thank my colleague James Evans MS for his public consultation on the Welsh Conservative’s proposed Welsh Farming and Countryside Scheme, our alternative to the socialistic Sustainable Farming Scheme. It can be found here.
“I would also like to thank Dwr Cymru who kindly passed out free bottles of water due to the sweltering heat.
“I hope everyone else enjoyed a fantastic show and I cannot wait for next year!”
