Janet outside St Julitta's Church

Following years of cooperation with the Snowdonia Society, Janet Finch-Saunders was honoured to be asked to officially open this year’s exhibition at St Julitta’s Church which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Society.

Janet said:

“For half a century, the Snowdonia Society has been working with local communities, organisations, businesses and individuals to protect this unique and beautiful part of the world.

“Since being elected to the Welsh Assembly in 2011, I have seen first-hand how the Society really succeeds to protect and enhance the beauty and special qualities of Snowdonia, such as through the work we did to save Conwy Falls, and defend the Sandford principle.

“I would like to thank the Friends of St Julitta’s for bringing the exhibition together at such a beautiful historic church: the smallest in Snowdonia!

“I highly recommend that you all go to see the exhibition and learn about the fantastic work that Snowdonia Society have done and continue to do”.

St. Julitta’s Church, Capel Curig: 23 July – 17 September.
