Aberconwy Mind has started a new community hub in Llandudno. This was officially opened this week by Janet Finch-Saunders, Assembly Member for Aberconwy.
The Hub: I CAN Conwy is a support centre for vulnerable individuals requiring mental health support. It has volunteers and support workers, and a warm welcome awaits anyone.
After officially opening the Hub, Janet said:
“It was an honour to open the mental health centre.
“I would like to thank Robin Holden, the trustees, and all volunteers who have worked so hard to make this happen.
“The Hub will be an asset to Llandudno as anyone is welcome to drop in to ask for help.
“On almost a weekly basis I am contacted by individuals looking for stronger mental health support, so I am delighted that we now have this brand new centre in Aberconwy.
“It could help change people’s lives for the better”.
