At the recent first fixture match for Jubilee Dragons, at Ysgol Bryn Elian, Aberconwy Assembly Member Janet Finch - Saunders AM ( pictured) was presented with a Jubilee Dragons, autographed football shirt, by local football coach Shane Cartwright of Craig-y- Don.
The Assembly member said " I am absolutely delighted to receive this shirt and pleased that the Jubilee Dragons are now playing in the local league "She added "I would like to pay an immense tribute to football coach Shane Cartwright, for his outstanding dedication, enthusiasm, and commitment, to the game, and for his determined efforts in this regard"
"For quite some time now, Shane has provided many hours of professional coaching and the inclusion of Jubilee Dragons to the local league, is testament to the invaluable support, that Shane offers to the many youngsters, he has enrolled, in order that they are able to play football on a regular basis."
" I am particularly heartened to learn that Shane has also acknowledged the need for girls to be able to play football and I would therefore wish the Jubilee Dragons, both boys and girl teams, all the very best for the future. "
